The Forbína bar recently opened on Prague's Národní třída, which we helped to realise in cooperation with the Olgoj Chorchoj architectural studio.
The architects' concept combines the refinement of the theatre world, historical architecture and contemporary interior design elements. The result is a space that attracts and inspires every theatregoer who wants to extend their evening over a premium drink in stimulating conversation. "We like to make an evening at the Forbína Bar an experience for guests, just like a visit to the theatre. From the very entrance, guests will feel the theatrical atmosphere from the velvet curtain that will be used to enter the bar area from the marble fountain," says Frederik Španer, general manager of the company and co-author of the concept.
As part of the project, we supplied furniture that emphasises the vision and the specific atmosphere of the bar. Its selection is dominated by seating furniture from the Danish premium brand Carl Hansen&Son, which builds on a long tradition. This is also reflected in the classic, timeless morphology of the selected Embrace E015 armchairs or CH58 bar stools. The emphasis on simplicity, craftsmanship and quality materials further underline the aura of elegance and luxury that the location naturally exudes.
It was our pleasure to be at the birth of a new Prague destination for all culture lovers who appreciate the intersection of art and design in architecture, as well as extraordinary experiences.
