Kettal has long been known as more than just a high-end outdoor furniture company. In 2021, the company has come up with a new product line for the office segment which has been successful over the years with B2B clientele worldwide. Kettal's philosophy of the office design is very much shared by our team. It comes with no surprise then that the Pavilion series is the cornerstone of the meeting rooms in the Holport showroom in Holešovice.
"The flexibility and diversity of workspace is one of the trending topics when it comes to office interiors. Covid which has had a significant impact on the way we work and how we spend our time at work in general is a major contributor to this. At Konsepti, we make sure that the working environment is functional, aesthetically pleasing and at the same time takes into account the needs of our employees. We were looking for something that would be sufficiently flexible and would match the essence of the office structure," explains Šimon Opekar, Head of Sales Konsepti CZ/SK.
O STANDING FOR OFFICE Pavilion O series stands for a special modular design that freely adapts to the needs of an office climate across a diverse spectrum of corporate cultures. Its main advantage is the creation of variable layouts and workspaces that can be quickly adapted to changes in the number of employees or the functions of individual departments. It can both divide offices into zones and create enclosed work sections. Due to this modular nature, Pavilion O provides the ability to respond quickly to the dynamics of trends in the world of work.
ICONIC OUTDOOR SOLUTIONS Kettal is best known for its distinctive style in the field of outdoor furniture design. When designing the Pavilion collection, the company came up with several modular designs to meet the needs of private exteriors. They found inspiration in the world of architecture. The product highlight of this series is Pavilion VDL, which is based on the iconic design of the Neutra VDL house in Los Angeles' famous Eastside neighborhood. The design replicates the radical architecture of this glass building with clean functionalist lines from the pen of architects Richard and Dion Neutra. The space of the VDL Pavilion is entirely horizontal, with no defined centre, and extends as a collection of equivalent rooms, each functioning only in relation to the others.
