To create a unique space for our business partners, architects and the professional public - this was the goal when transforming the first floor of our Holešovice showroom. Now, you will find here a generous exhibition of designer furniture and equipment for B2B projects and a special projection space to be used for the presentation of the most important projects. The reconstruction was carried out under the guidance of the Perspektiv architecture studio.
The goal of the architects was to break down the stereotype of passive sale of furniture and turn it into a multimedia experience, playing with imagination and emotions. “The space is loosely inspired by the disposition of the theatre, there is an entrance gallery, a foyer and a hall with a stage and an auditorium,” explains Martin Stára from the Perspektiv architecture studio. The first part is a showcase of furniture made of milky plexiglass with backlighting. The heart of the interior is a space with a digital background, enabling projection of endless variations to present office furniture. In the back of the space, there is a foyer and a lounge, where visitors can meet in an informal environment.
The exhibition of designer furniture is interconnected with a projection that places it in a real environment. It offers augmented reality and the illusion of additional space. “This is a truly unique feat and we are very glad that we could create something like this in our premises,” adds David Řezníček. “Konsepti has always taken the ordinary shopping experience to a new level, and that was our goal in the design of our showroom. It is no longer the case that offices are the place of grey laminate and purpose-built furniture. In this respect, we wanted to bring a new perspective on the presentation of furniture. The uniqueness is also reflected in the materials used, which one can experience best when paying a visit themselves,” concludes Martin Stára.
The new space is intended not only for the business partners of Konsepti, it also serves as a meeting place for experts and creatives. “Individual parts of the premises are flexible and we expect to change them, to present various product innovations and implementations. Everyone who comes to us can look forward to a unique experience,” concludes David Řezníček, founder of Konsepti.
