Alain Berteau

Belgian designer Alain Berteau (1971) studied architecture at School of Visual Arts La Cambre in Brussels. In 2002 he established his own design bureau which shifted from architecture to interior and product design. In 2006, Berteau was elected the first ‘Belgian designer of the year’. Nowadays his name is connected to all kinds of brands such as Bulo, Montis, Vange... Berteau is active both in residential and commercial architecture and in addition to furniture he also designs technical objects such as taps.
